TRIPADVISOR GIVES THE KANDY HOUSE NEW AWARD FOR EXCELLENCE
For the second year running TripAdvisor has awarded The Kandy House with its' 2013 Certificate of Excellence.
TripAdvisor gives this award to establishments that consistently achieve outstanding traveller reviews on TripAdvisor, with only the top 10% of properties receiving the prestigious award. The Certificate of Excellence award is given to outstanding hospitality businesses that have received praise and recognition in reviews by TripAdvisor travellers.

CASA HELICONIA opened its doors in December 2012. It's "Jungle Glam" at this intimate hideaway. Manicured jungle surrounds striking and stylish pavilions, decorated lavishly and creatively. It's ideal for couples or a family seeking an experience in rural Sri Lanka, with the convenience of being 40km from the heart of Colombo and only 25km from the capital’s airport.
The Bedrooms are based in two stylized pavilions, each having its own terrace and ample sitting and private dining area. All interiors boast a fusion of western and asian art and antiques, creating all comforts and some eccentricity in this lush tropical setting.
The Doll's House is a common Sitting Room housing deep sofas, Wi-Fi and TV, if you want to move away from your own pavilion to connect with friends, listen to music or take in a movie.
Pavilion Neapolitan houses a swimming pool with loungers in the shade, directing your vision over the paddy fields.
Based on the perimeter of a farming village, surrounded by plantations and rural life under the watchful eye of a stunning temple stoupa, experiences can include visits to markets, small temples,villages and farmland.
